Emeli is proud to be performing at Unity – A Concert for Stephen Lawrence on 29th September at the O2 Arena, London. The concert aims to celebrate youth and social empowerment and will also see performances from Jessie J, Rizzle Kicks, Labrinth and more.

Emeli was recently invited to perform in front of President Obama at The White House as part of a concert to celebrate the work of the legendary Carole King, the recipient of this year’s Gershwin Prize for Popular Song and who was herself there to receive the award.

Yesterday brought the realisation of a dream come true for Emeli when she awoke to find out that she’d become the recipient of 2 x Ivor Novello Awards!

‘Next To Me’ scooped the awards for both Best Song Musically and Lyrically and PRS for Music Most Performed Work.

‘Emeli Sandé Live at the Royal Albert Hall’ is coming to your TV screens! This Sunday 12th May at 8pm sharp, BBC Three will be broadcasting an hour of footage from the official concert film, which was filmed at last November’s spectacular sold-out show.

The film features Emeli’s live performances of tracks from her album, including Heaven, Next To Me and Clown, as well as special guest appearances from Professor Green and Labrinth. Don’t miss its first ever broadcast on TV.
